Discover one of the most challenging gravel climbs in Málaga on this demanding loop through the mountains above the coast. Starting from Terral Bike Shop, you leave the seafront behind and set off toward a landscape of steady ascents, wild ridges and open countryside.

First, the route heads inland from Los Pacos and begins the long climb toward Mijas. Soon, the gradients steepen, and wide views start to unfold beside you. Moreover, the effort quickly rewards you with sweeping panoramas over Loma del Flamenco.

Next, the ride crosses through Valtocado, where rolling terrain keeps your legs working and your eyes busy. Here, the landscape shifts constantly, blending mountain slopes with quiet, semi-rural corners. Consequently, this middle section becomes a genuine test of rhythm and stamina.

As you press on, the route climbs progressively toward Puerto de los Pescadores. Furthermore, this final ascent delivers the biggest reward of the day, with spectacular scenery in every direction. Afterwards, a flowing descent carries you back toward the coast.
