This demanding route follows a long and spectacular loop through coastal and inland landscapes. It begins in Fuengirola heading toward Torremolinos via the coast road before turning inland through the Guadalhorce Valley. The first major challenge is the climb toward Casarabonela, which continues up to Puerto Martínez. A smooth, well-paved descent leads into El Burgo, where the final major ascent awaits: the climb to Puerto de las Abejas. Once this final peak is reached, the remainder of the route becomes progressively more favourable, closing an extensive and rewarding high-difficulty ride.
