The route then leads into the beautiful Mediterranean forest of Elviria, one of the most scenic sections of the region, before crossing the Sierra Parda and descending once again toward the river. The route takes its name from the iconic Julio Iglesias, as it passes by his luxurious mansion in Elviria.
