This route is one of our favourites, starting with a 15 km section along the river that becomes inaccessible during wet weather. At kilometre 16.5, special attention is required when crossing the A-7035 regional road. The second loop presents steep gradients reaching 21%, while riders seeking a shorter option may exit the route straight toward Fuengirola at kilometre 26.5. Continuing into the third loop rewards you with one of the last preserved Mediterranean forests in the area. The final stretch passes through La Cala de Mijas, an ideal place to enjoy a brief stop before returning to Fuengirola.
