- Route: steady climb, then an exciting descent into Tolox. At the village entrance: public fountain to refill bottles.
- Return: smooth asphalt with light traffic back to Monda.
2.- Montes de Málaga
- Starting point: Venta del Túnel — convenient parking, eateries and start/finish logistics.
